Camper in 1964 and 1965, and counselor at
Camp from 1972 through 1979 - all great times. Like Win Walker, I
still consider some of my Camp buddies to be my best friends in the
world. Purcell was absolutely right when he suggested "lifetime
friendships" every winter when he came to our hometowns to show camp
movies. Have lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 25 years,
with many great sailboat racing experiences on the Bay, in the
Pacific Ocean and bareboating in the Caribbean. All these
experiences started with small boats on Bogue Sound. Married with
wife Nancy and five children, working in the high tech world of
Silicon Valley, and not racing at all these days. When the kids get
older, I'll be back!

Camper and
counselor at Camp from 1966 through 1978. Great times. Still consider
some of my Camp buddies to be my best friends in the world! Business
degree from the University of Richmond, and principal in a Raleigh
Insurance Agency since 1979. Married with three great children. The
two boys have been Sea Gullers, lacking the better option! Taking
flying lessons and have just soloed (Nov 2007)! Have a house in
Atlantic Beach and still go by Camp to reminisce with regularity!
