Miss
North Carolina with some JC's in 1956. The
only names I can remember are:
Back Row, 4th from Left -- "Admiral" Poovey.
Front Row, 3rd from Left -- George Temple; Extreme Right -- Murray
Borden. (The boy left of him had a name like "Swartskoph").

Believe
young lady is Ellen. Ellen was Mrs. Crawford's
niece -- and the 16' motorboat was named for her.
She was there that summer to look after Purcell's young children, but she
seemed more interested in the big boys. The big boy in the picture, I
think, is Keith Bucannan from Sanford. He was my AC one time.
