We probably sang more songs than any of us can remember. So, remember them here!

The Polluted Neuse
Do you remember the song, sung to the tune of "The Ohio"? Kind of ironic that
we sang it in 1969, and now pfiesteria threatens to kill the river altogether in 1998.
- I asked my love
- to take a walk,
- to take a walk,
- just a little walk.
- Down beside where the waste flows loose,
- Down by the banks of the polluted Neuse.
-
- I held her head
- down in that mess,
- and she was breee-thin'
- less and less,
- Down beside where the waste flows loose,
- Down by the banks of the polluted Neuse.
-
- As I walked home
- twixt twelve and one,
- I cried My God!
- What have I done?
- I killed my love where the waste flows loose,
- and now she helps to pollute the Neuse.
-
- <quicktime>
- Well, there are millions of particles, particles of sewage,
- sewage in that river that we all call the Neuse.
- It's all floatin' 'round you, it will astound you,
- let's all get together, make it new, Thank you!

Note: many of us viewed this as an anti Camp Seagull/Seafarer competitive song, too.
